From our shop in Clapham

We’re a small bunch of coffee people with a shop in Clapham.

You’ll usually find someone trying a fresh roast, another chatting about kit, and plenty of friendly faces.

We love showing how simple great coffee can be — no jargon, no fuss, just a few good beans and a bit of know-how.

If you’re ever nearby, come in for a coffee and a chat. We’ll help you brew something brilliant at home

On Abbeville Road, we often brew this for people who want something rich and low in acidity. It's a favourite with customers who used to drink Italian espresso blends and want something with similar depth but more complexity. Pop in and give it a go.

Simple ideas to try

Espresso (home machine)

Dial it in like you normally do — nothing fancy needed.

Thick, chocolatey, and warming.

Moka Pot

Fill the basket level with medium-fine grind.

Keep the heat gentle and stop the brew as soon as it starts to sputter.

Brings out warm spice and richness.

Cafetière (French press)

1 rounded tablespoon (about 15 g) per 250 ml of water.

Pour hot water, stir, and leave for 4 minutes.

Press gently, then pour straight away.

Soft, full, and deeply satisfying.
