+ I can't log in to my account!

Try resetting your password. Head to our 'Log in' page, and select 'Forgot your password?'.

If this doesn't work for you, you might not have created a Login with us yet! Pop over to our registration page and create an account.

+ Can I have an invoice please?

You are automatically sent a VAT invoice when you place your order, this is your confirmation email. If you can't find or have deleted your confirmation email, please contact our Customer Experience Team at hello@cafepod.com and they'll be happy to send you another one.

+ Why can't I use my discount?

Our Discount Codes are case sensitive. Please make sure you're using the same case when entering your code, and including any symbols or numbers.

 

Nespresso® Compatible Capsules

+ WHICH MACHINES CAN I USE CAFÉPOD NESPRESSO COMPATIBLE CAPSULES WITH?

Our coffee capsules are compatible with Nespresso® brand coffee machines for home use including Citiz, Pixie, U, Essenza, Inissia and Lattissima. Check our Nespresso® machine compatibility page for full details

+ WILL MY NESPRESSO MACHINE WARRANTY BE LOST IF I USE CAFÉPOD CAPSULES?

No, the manufacturer cannot under any circumstances refuse to provide services under your machine’s warranty.

+ IT FEELS LIKE MY MACHINE IS FIRMER TO CLOSE THAN USUAL - IS THAT NORMAL?

Yes, that is completely normal. Our capsules are made from food grade plastic; therefore closing the lever may require a bit more effort than usual. However the capsule will not damage your machine.

+ WHY IS MY COFFEE IN A BLACK POD?

We've just introduced our coloured capsules, but don't worry if you've grabbed a box with black pods inside. You do have the correct coffee, it's just that our original black pods are still phasing out. Rest assured, all of our capsules will be coloured soon.

+ ARE YOUR PODS RECYCLABLE?

We're really pleased to say that by developing a new capsule, we have now reduced our packaging by 50%! So no more individual wrappers, and smaller boxes. Your box is 100% recyclable, and you can even reuse your coffee in the garden.

In order to make sure our coffee stays fresh, we had to go with a combination material for our pods so that we wouldn’t need the extra packaging of a foil wrapper. Unfortunately this means that our pods are not recyclable.

We are of course looking for recyclable solutions. Once something becomes available that can offer the same great freshness and functionality, we'll upgrade to this.

+ MY COFFEE DRIPS OUT AT THE END OF EXTRACTION. IS THAT NORMAL?

Yes, that is completely normal. Because of the finely-ground coffee used, a proper espresso should finish “drop by drop” – this is a sign of quality and good extraction. Stop the coffee flowing when it reaches the two-thirds level in a conventional espresso cup.

+ HOW LONG CAN I STORE CAPSULES FOR?

Our coffee capsules can be kept until the best-before date shown on the outer carton packaging – 12 months after manufacture.

+ HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY SUBSCRIPTION?

You can make changes to your subscription plan from your CafePod Account Page. From here, you can make changes to the amount of coffee, which blends, and your order date. If you have a subscription plan but haven't created an Account Login yet, please head to our registration page

+ HOW DO I MAKE A LONG COFFEE?

To perfectly preserve the intensity and aromas of espresso, you are advised to simply add hot water from your machine to an espresso to make a long coffee. This is the only way to enjoy an espresso worthy of the name. Italian espresso is generally enjoyed in a small cup, but if you are used to drinking coffee in a large cup, add hot water or see the next tip about preparing a double espresso.

+ HOW DO I MAKE A DOUBLE ESPRESSO?

If you want to make a double espresso, use two coffee capsules one after the other to ensure the quality of your coffee.

+ Are Your Pods Recyclable?

Not at the moment. We are of course looking for recyclable solutions. Once something becomes available that can offer the same great freshness and functionality, we'll upgrade to this.

+ Does the coffee contain nuts/chocolate?

No. The only thing in our coffee pods is 100% ground coffee!

+ Are your milk pods suitable for vegans?

No. Our milk pods contain whey powder, which unfortunately isn't suitable for those on a vegan diet.

+ Can I subscribe to Dolce Gusto® compatible pods?

No, at the moment only our Nespresso® compatible pods are available for subscription.
