How to use it

Drop a tablet into the brew group or the cleaning compartment, whichever your machine has.

Run the cleaning cycle.

Then a rinse cycle, so nothing is left behind.

Cleaning and descaling are different jobs

Coffee oils build up in the brew group and go rancid, which is what makes an otherwise good machine produce a bitter cup. A cleaning tablet or capsule deals with that.

Limescale builds up in the water system and changes the temperature and the pressure. Descaler deals with that.

Doing one does not cover the other. Most machines need both, just not on the same day.
