I can't log in to my account!
Try resetting your password. Head to our 'Log in' page, and select 'Forgot your password?'. If this doesn't work for you, you might not have created a Login with us yet! Pop over to our registration page and create an account.
Can I have an invoice please?
You are automatically sent a VAT invoice when you place your order, this is your confirmation email. If you can't find or have deleted your confirmation email, please contact our Customer Experience Team at firstname.lastname@example.org and they'll be happy to send you another one.
Can I order over the phone?

Is it safe to use my credit card?
We care about your security and we do our best to ensure your shopping experience is safe and simple. To do this, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology on our check out and this protects your data.
How will I know when you’ve received my order?
Once you’ve placed your order, we’ll send you an email confirming that we’ve received it. The email is not an indication that we’ve accepted your order just yet as we still need to approve your payment details. When this has been done we’ll begin to prepare your order.
Can I change any details once I’ve placed my order?
If you let us know as soon as you can that you need to make a change to your order, we’ll do all we can to accommodate you but if you’re order has already been processed, it would be tricky for us to make any changes.
Why can't I use my discount?
Our Discount Codes are case sensitive. Please make sure you're using the same case when entering your code, and including any symbols or numbers. It could also be that you've already used your discount code or attempting to apply more than one voucher to an order.
Are the pods colour coded?
They’re colour coded by blend and the pods will match the boxes. You can pour them out into your decanter or pod holder.
No nut worries here. No chocolate either. There’s only good, strong coffee in our pods.
What does your strength scale mean?
Our scale related to the intensity of taste, rather than the caffeine content. Usually the stronger tasting coffees contain Robusta beans which do have higher caffeine content. You’d be surprised by our Ethiopia blend which although is a strength 8, has a very smooth, bright taste.

But…won’t it void my machine’s warranty?
No, the manufacturer cannot under any circumstances refuse to provide services under your machine’s warranty.
IT FEELS LIKE MY MACHINE IS FIRMER TO CLOSE THAN USUAL - IS THAT NORMAL?
Yes, that is completely normal. Our capsules are made from food grade plastic; therefore closing the lever may require a bit more effort than usual. However the capsule will not damage your machine.
What’s the plastic made out of?
Our pods are made from food grade plastic (PBT)
Can you recycle these pods?
The pod itself is not (currently) recyclable. Your box is 100% recyclable, and you can even reuse your coffee in the garden. As soon as we've perfected a pod that ensures the coffee will stay fresh, with a material that is recyclable, we'll upgrade to this.
MY COFFEE DRIPS OUT AT THE END OF EXTRACTION. IS THAT NORMAL?
Yes, that is completely normal. Because of the finely-ground coffee used, a proper espresso should finish “drop by drop” – this is a sign of quality and good extraction. Stop the coffee flowing when it reaches the two-thirds level in a conventional espresso cup.
HOW LONG CAN I STORE CAPSULES FOR?
Our coffee capsules can be kept until the best-before date shown on the outer carton packaging – 12 months after manufacture.
HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY SUBSCRIPTION?
You can make changes to your subscription plan from your CafePod Account Page. From here, you can make changes to the amount of coffee, which blends, and your order date. If you have a subscription plan but haven't created an Account Login yet, please head to our registration page
HOW DO I MAKE A LONG COFFEE?
To perfectly preserve the intensity and aromas of espresso, you are advised to simply add hot water from your machine to an espresso to make a long coffee. This is the only way to enjoy an espresso worthy of the name. Italian espresso is generally enjoyed in a small cup, but if you are used to drinking coffee in a large cup, add hot water or see the next tip about preparing a double espresso.
HOW DO I MAKE A DOUBLE ESPRESSO?
If you want to make a double espresso, use two coffee capsules one after the other to ensure the quality of your coffee.

Are Your Pods Recyclable?
Not at the moment. We are of course looking for recyclable solutions. Once something becomes available that can offer the same great freshness and functionality, we'll upgrade to this.
Will your capsules damage my machine?
No – our capsules are fully compatible with your Dolce Gusto machine. Some older models may have trouble, if you have any questions please contact us at email@example.com.
Why don’t you sell milk capsules?
Our aim is to bring you great quality, strong coffee. Coffee is what we're really good at and so we're doing just that.
Can I subscribe to Dolce Gusto® compatible pods?
No, at the moment only our Nespresso® compatible pods are available for subscription.
Where can I buy your Dolce Gusto capsules?
They are available to purchase online and in Asda stores. Check our store locator to find your nearest store that stocks our range.
How do you decaffeinate your coffee?
We us the CO2 decaffeination process which is completely natural which so there's no solvents or chemicals. This process keeps the flavour of the bean as no fats or proteins are removed. It’s so effective that you’ll only find the slightest trace of caffeine in our decaf.
I want to bulk buy for my office, can I do this?

Why can't I add less than 5 packets to my basket?
The way our website is set up means you'd need to purchase 5 or more packets or boxes of coffee. If this interferes with your coffee needs, please drop our customer care team a line and we'll help.
