The question isn't which machine is best. It's how much of the job you actually want to do. Pull the shot yourself on the Dedica Arte and you're in charge of the grind, the tamp and the timing. A bean to cup takes all three off you and gets on with it. A filter machine asks for nothing but water and a scoop.
Worth saying plainly, given we sell these: the machine is rarely what lets a cup down. Put ordinary coffee through an expensive machine and you'll taste ordinary coffee. Whichever one you pick, fill it with beans worth grinding.
