What you Need:

2 heaped tablespoons (or 15g) of fine ground coffee
Hot water - to fill 1 mug (or 220ml)

How To Use This AeroPress:

Put a paper filter in the cap, twist onto the AeroPress, & place over your mug. Add the coffee.
Pour hot water into the AeroPress & stir for 10 seconds. Wait 1-2 minutes.
Insert the plunger & press down slowly.

One really good cup in about two minutes, start to finish.

Almost nothing to clean. The puck pops straight out into the bin.

How to make it

Paper in the cap, twist it onto the chamber, stand it on your mug. Coffee in.

Pour in hot water, stir for ten seconds, then leave it a minute or two.

Put the plunger in and press down slowly. If it fights you, your grind is too fine.

Used for years - first in USA
I really like the Aero Press especially for travel and will be taking mine to New York for a visit soon.
As I age though, the pushing down of the press is hard work and you have to be careful that you go straight down and don’t tip the mug or cup into which you are pushing your hot water through the filter paper to make your delicious coffee.

Which coffee works best

Fine grind, about 15g. The AeroPress is forgiving, which is why it is a good one to learn on.

Our espresso style coffees give you the richest cup out of it. Darker roasts hold up well to the pressure.

Frequently asked questions

Strong and smooth rather than sharp. The pressure and the paper together take out most of the bitterness, so it drinks well black or topped up with hot water.

It is the best of the lot for it. Plastic, light, and it packs into itself. Take the scoop and a bag of coffee and you are set.

Fine, finer than filter but not quite espresso. The scoop in the box is the right dose.
