The Size 3 is the larger V60, designed for households where pour-over coffee is part of the daily routine for more than one person. You can brew up to six cups in a single go, which means no second batches, no waiting around, and one clean-up instead of two.

Same as the smaller sizes, filter paper, ground coffee, hot water, and let it drip through, just scaled up. The clear plastic lets you see the brew as it happens, which is a nice touch.

Works with V60 Size 03 filter papers (sold separately).

How to make it

Filter paper in, then two tablespoons of medium ground coffee.

Pour just enough hot water to wet all the coffee, and wait 30 seconds. It will puff up. That is meant to happen.

Then pour the rest slowly, in circles, until your cup is full. Lift the V60 off and bin the paper.

Which coffee works best

Medium grind, roughly the texture of table salt. Pour-over is the method that shows off a coffee most, so it is worth using something you actually like.

If it drips through too fast and tastes thin, grind finer. If it stalls, go coarser.

Do I need filter papers?

Yes, and they are sold separately. Match the size to the dripper: Size 02 papers for a Size 2, Size 03 for a Size 3.
