Two ways to get a short, strong coffee at home. An electric pump, or a pot on the hob.
Both work by pushing hot water through coffee under pressure, which is what makes espresso espresso. A pump machine gives you more of that pressure and more control over it. A moka pot gets you most of the character for a fraction of the money, and it doesn't need a plug.
If you're buying a pump machine, the Dedica Arte is the manual one and you do the grinding. Everything above it is bean to cup, so the machine grinds for you.
Either way it wants a dark roast ground fine. Anything from our espresso style range is built for it.
