Frequently asked questions

What is the best coffee grind size for AeroPress?

A medium-fine grind is best. Using too fine of a grind will make the plunger hard to push down, and too coarse a grind will make the coffee taste weak.

What is the best coffee grind size for AeroPress?

The AeroPress works well with the majority of roasts. We recommend starting out with a medium roast, but you can also experiment with lighter and darker roasts.

Why is it difficult to push down the plunger?

Difficulty pushing down the plunger is often the result of coffee that is too finely ground. It can also be a result of using too much coffee or too much pressure buildup.
